Opening reception is on Friday, July 29, 4:30 – 6:30 and refreshments will be served. We are also open on Saturday (10 – 5) and Sunday (10 – 4).

This Belden Noble Memorial Library program is presented free of charge, thanks to a 2022 Cultural Assistance Program grant, administered by ECAC and funded by the Essex County Board of Supervisors and private donors..


Wilmington Mountain Music Fest 2022

Rock Invades the North Country with Shout at the Devil the Motley Crue Tribute Band on July 30th. Get ready for an evening of rock starting with 25th Mission with their original tribute to the gilded age of metal followed by Shout at the Devil, the ultimate Motley Crue Tribute.

We’ve got your Grub and Chug needs covered with local beer and food vendors.

Disney’s Frozen JR

Presented by over twenty local students for our Camp Pendragon Production!

A story of true love and acceptance between sisters, Frozen JR. expands upon the emotional relationship and journey between Princesses Anna and Elsa. When faced with danger, the two discover their hidden potential and the powerful bond of sisterhood.

The show runs 60 minutes, no intermission.

Come down to the Mountain Lake PBS station on Saturday, July 30th from 1-3 PM for a PBS KIDS Day celebration!

The whole family can take part in fun, hands-on activities and crafts, enjoy snacks out on the lawn, and take home a free book!

It’s all happening at 1 Sesame Street in Plattsburgh—rain or shine. We can’t wait to see you there!

Monday Morning Storytime

Monday, July 25, 10 am

Our storyteller will read “Molly, By Golly” by Dianne Ochiltree and “Pete the Cat: Firefighter Pete” by James Dean.

After storytime, the Lake Placid Volunteer Fire Department will have a fire truck parked out front of the store for all the children to explore! Storytime is geared towards children ages 3 and up, but all children are welcome!
