Silvia Vasquez-Lavado Keynote Talk: Moved to Saranac Lake Central High School
Word’s been getting around about Silvia Vasquez-Lavado at the Kickass Writers Festival! So much so that we’ve had to change the location of her event from BluSeed Studios to Saranac Lake High School. This will allow more guests while also providing ample room for parties to socially distance. We’ve also nudged the start time back to 5 pm.

KASA Quartet and Caroga Arts Partner for Debut Album Release
Forever Wild Vol. 1 was recorded live in Sherman’s during the 2021 Caroga Lake Music Festival. This is the first album produced by the Caroga Arts Collective record label and marks the debut record for the award-winning KASA Quartet. The project features special guest collaborations on each track with renowned artists and frequent guests at CLMF including Sawyer Fredericks, richmusicrich, Lo Marie, Eddie Barbash, and Miriam Elhajli, Mr.Chair, Warp Trio, and Nathan Chan!
The album will be sold at all events during the Caroga Lake Music Festival and will be available on all digital and streaming platforms on August 4. The album was recorded and produced by GRAMMY-award winning artist, Geoff Saunders, co-produced by KASA Quartet, and included assistant producer and second engineer, Brian Shank. The album was mixed and mastered by Heeyeon Ko. Cover art was designed by Martina Angela Muller and edited by Hinano Ishii.
