Emma Goldman: An Exceedingly Dangerous Woman

Doors open at 6:30 pm. Covid-19 vaccination is strongly recommended and masks are encouraged. Masks will be available. Seating is limited and on a first-come, first-serve basis.

The 2022 KAWF celebrates writing in all of its forms—Including erasure, visual poetry, and collage…

In erasure poetry, also known as blackout poetry, the poet takes an existing text and erases, blacks out, or obscures a large portion of the text, creating a wholly new work from what remains. (from Poets.org)

Learn to make a poem without writing a single word! Using nature texts and found objects, Visiting Writer Erin Dorney will guide participants through the process of making an erasure poem. All materials provided—with your permission, we’ll share a photo of your poem on ACW’s Instagram.
