Voices Over the Water: A Poetry Workshop at The Sembrich

Wednesday, October 5, 11 am, $20 – Registration Required

Walking the paths at the Sembrich property, where so many have found inspiration over the decades, participants will hear words of poets and writers who were inspired by Lake George and other places of natural beauty. Using prompts from the poems, we’ll sit and drop into our own experience of this water and landscape, noticing what words rise up, letting them fall onto the page in whatever from they want to take.

Warren County Historical Society Creates Publishing Division

The Warren County Historical Society has created the Warren History Press imprint as a publishing division in furtherance of its goals of promoting the rich history of Warren County.

The society has published a number of books in the past but by providing a dedicated part of its operation to publishing more original and formerly published historic collections, it opens up opportunities for new writers in Warren County and elsewhere, to have a dedicated vehicle in which to publish their historical research, reference, or novels.
