You can find out about the happenings by going to the ADK A&E website HERE and clicking on “Events” at the upper left. Then use the search bar to search by type of event or location—or just browse through the listings. With such a wealth of offerings, you’ll find so much to do!

Trillium Chamber Players at The Hand House

Trillium Chamber Players will perform Saturday Dec. 3, at 7:00 pm at the Hand House, Elizabethtown, NY The ensemble includes Patricia McCarty, viola; Janice Kyle, oboe; and Timothy Mount, piano. The program includes works by Bach, D’Rivera, Klughardt, Vieuxtemps, John Hawkins, and Marjan Mozetich.

NCPR Under the Stars

At the Adirondack Sky Center and Observatory

Join Todd Moe and Monica Sandreczki for a star-filled evening at the Adirondack Observatory in Tupper Lake!

You tune in to Northern Light every month for astronomy news. Now, meet St. Lawrence University astronomer Aileen O’Donoghue in person! Aileen and the crew at the observatory will talk about the Pleiades star cluster, take us on a tour of the night sky, and lead us in constellation trivia.

We’ll enjoy a cup of mulled cider and a doughnut while taking a peak through the telescopes.

Plus, Aileen will read us a bedtime story of, “Good Night, Moon” to send us on our way!

NOTE: This is an outdoor event. Dress for the weather and bring a lawn chair! Also, this event is weather dependent If it’s cloudy or snowy, we’ll postpone until a later date.

Rockin’ Tree Lighting with DJ Cruz

Sunday, November 27th, 5:30 pm, Ticonderoga Community Building

Join us as we light the community Christmas Tree, listen to holiday music, enjoy a campfire & more. All kids in attendance will help count down to the tree lighting. Children will also be able to get their photo with Santa next to the tree. Parents bring your cameras and cellphones to snap a photo. Take and Make Cookie Decorating Kits available, provided by Silver Bay YMCA Teen Center. A must do holiday event!

La Serpiente Danza Contemporánea

A Modern Dance Company Direct from Mexico

November 18, 2022, 7:30 pm

On its debut tour in the United States, this independent contemporary dance company is based out of Morelia, Michoacán, Mexico. Since their first production in 2001, they have created their own style of feeling and communicating with the world, creating an ensemble that is a convergence of movement and the aesthetic vision of the group’s members. Treatise About the Line is a contemporary dance performance that explores the complexity of bodies moving through space and time.
