It’s a Wonderful Life” radio play by Gem Radio Theatre
Saturday, December 10, 7 – 8:30 pm
Sunday, December 11, 2 – 3:30 pm
Tannery Pond Center is pleased to present the holiday classic “It’s a Wonderful Life”, performed as a live radio play by Gem Radio Theatre. The stage is set at the WADK radio station during the golden days of radio and a handful of actors have gathered to bring “It’s a Wonderful Life” to the airwaves. The audience experiences the magic of radio as a small cast voices over 30 parts and the foley artist creates sound effects live using a unique array of props to bring the story of George Bailey to life. The sentimental tale of “It’s a Wonderful Life”, told through this simulated radio broadcast, fills the heart with holiday cheer and reminds us, through George’s story and a miracle named Clarence, why life really is so wonderful.
