The Lake George Arts Project Director of Exhibitions is a critical part of the Lake George Arts Project Team. The Director of Exhibitions is tasked with managing between 6-8 on-site exhibitions in our Courthouse Gallery, our Project Local program, as well as our recently revived Collector’s Club program. The Director of Exhibitions will also work with the Executive Director to develop long-range plans for the exhibitions program, create new strategies to build awareness and increase visitorship, develop new engaging, mission-related programs, and enhance current programs.

For three full weekends in Spring the largest maple syrup producers in the Lake George Area, as well as neighboring farms, open their sugar shack doors to the public for free to explore the tasty world of maple syrup.
Thurman Maple Days are your family’s chance to discover how your favorite pancake topper is made right from the source! The air is perfumed with the heavenly sweet scent of maple syrup, and producers offer samples of everything from maple candy to maple cream. Celebrate this short-but-special season with free tours of maple sugaring operations, tastings, sugaring demonstrations, and shop the wonderful array of tasty souvenirs to take home.

Fly Fishing Film Tour
Saturday, March 25, 2023. Lobby opens for activities at 6 pm, Film starts at 7 pm
A benefit for the Tri Lakes Chapter of Trout Unlimited.
The original and preeminent exhibition of fly fishing cinema. The F3T is a one of a kind experience. Each year fishy folk of all ages gather in big cities and small towns alike to soak up films from around the world, spin a few yarns amongst friends, and dream about casts yet unmade.
Featuring craft beer from Ray Brook Brewhouse and Raquette River Brewing as well as auctions, bucket raffles and door swag!
