NORTHWIND FINE ART GALLERY/FEBRUARY FEATURED ARTIST SHOW

NorthWind Fine Arts is pleased to present watercolorist Catharine Moore’s beautiful new show “Good Vibrations” which is on exhibit now through the end of February. Catharine Moore’s new watercolor exhibit, “Good Vibrations” is exactly that. Her work is an exuberant collection of birds, butterflies, and flowers, and hints strongly of spring. Give yourself a gift during the long, dark winter and come to see the show. You might even find a piece to take home. It will make you happy, and we all need that right now!

NorthWind Fine Arts is located in the heart of historic Saranac Lake, steps from the Hotel Saranac and Origin Coffee and just nine miles from Lake Placid. Stop in to see us while you’re in town for Winter Carnival! As always, we have paintings in all mediums, photography, jewelry, wood carvings and more, all created by our talented Adirondack artists.

ART OF THE EIGHTIES AT ADIRONDACK ARTISTS GUILD

Totally Eighties

In keeping with “Totally Eighties,” this year’s Saranac Lake Winter Carnival theme, the Adirondack Artists Guild’s February exhibit will feature members’ artworks made in the nineteen-eighties. Some of the artists were already established in their careers then, some were busy with other parts of their lives, and one was still in high school.

The show will open on Friday, February 4, and remain on display through March 11. Although there will not be an opening reception, the public is welcome to visit the gallery during business hours.
