AFTER 10 YEARS, IT’S COMPLETE!

The North Creek Mosaic Project
Ten years ago, artist Kate Hartley saw the large concrete wall on Main Street in North Creek as the perfect canvas for a very unique, very large-scale art project.

Today, that 180-foot stretch of bland, concrete wall is one of the largest pieces of public art in the North Country in what has been a community wide art participation program, with a generation of kids volunteering for the project.

Click HERE for North Country Pubic Radio’s Monica Sandreczki’s interview with Kate Hartley and see photos of this amazing work.
