The Clothesline: Food, Fiber, Air, & Soil

An Installation From Artist Brenda Baker

Open now through October 14

The Clothesline: Food, Fiber, Air, and Soil highlights the hard work done in our community by people who work in agriculture. The installation is made up of hundreds of pieces of used work attire donated by agricultural workers, which act as stand-ins for the unseen people whose labor produces the food we eat. Be immersed in the farmer’s lives as you walk through and read their authentic stories.

All Aglow

Throughout July

All Aglow showcases the work of fused glass artist Angela Nephew and painter Susan Whiteman.

The show feature new, original work from both artists. Angela incorporates skilled techniques into her stunning glass pieces, some of which are beautiful in their simplicity, while others are a marvel of intricate patterns that beg the question, “How did she do that?”

Susan is known for her uniquely interpretive style and dramatic skies in her Adirondack and Hudson Valley landscapes. She has a series of new, large “over the fireplace” pieces, as well as a collection of new, more intimate paintings.

We welcome you to come and visit the gallery! NorthWind Fine Arts features award-winning local artists in all mediums.
