BluSeed Studios has a long tradition of providing alternate entertainment and arts. The Sober Open Minded Mic allows the Opening Minded Mic to be inclusive to all—children and teens, families and people in recovery.

January’s Spotlight Artists are The Allens (Shamim and Billy—no relations) and Bill Chamberlain. Billy Allen owned the Waterhole in Saranac Lake and brought many musicians here. Since selling it, he has been busy writing his own songs.

Joining Billy are Shamim Allen and Bill Chamberlain. Shamim may be familiar to folks from the Dust Bunnies. Bill is an accomplished instrumentalist. Most recently he was heard playing with the traditional group High on the Hog.

Thanks to the generosity of our sponsor this event is free and open to all. St. Josephs Addiction and Treatment Centers are sponsoring this season’s Sober Open Minded Mics.
