Becky Harblin

October 12, 1952 – April 9, 2025

We are heartbroken to share the loss of Becky Harblin, an incredible artist and a true pillar of our community. Her creativity knew no bounds, and her passion touched every person fortunate enough to witness her work or share space with her.

More than her immense talent, she carried a spirit that lifted others — always encouraging, always present, always building something beautiful for all of us. Becky’s legacy lives on not only in the paintings and poetry she created, but in the lives she inspired and the community that helped shape.

Our thoughts are with Becky’s family, friends, and our community as we collectively grieve this immense loss. We know that Becky would want us to honor her memory by continuing to find joy in creating, connecting, and caring for one another.

SLC Arts will be honoring Becky by recognizing a Plein Air painter at the 2025 SLC Arts Plein Air Festival with a Becky Harblin Memorial Award. We know that Becky’s essence will be everlasting within the Creative Spirit.
