Adirondack Artists Guild Presents
Birch Birch Birch
Saturday, May 2 – Tuesday, June 3
Opening reception Saturday, May 2, 5 – 7 pm
Every year the Adirondack Artists Guild holds one or two “themed” exhibits, specifically for the members. It’s kind of like being back in school again and getting an assignment.
But being a group of 15 artists, we love the challenge (well, most of us) and go out of our way to produce exciting, new works of art. Our new exhibit will open May 2.

The theme for our May exhibit is Birch, and not just one, but Birch Birch Birch. That is bound to be interpreted in at least 15 unique ways. The Birch tree is notable for its striking white bark and is often among the first trees to regenerate with new growth after forest fires.
Members of the Adirondack Artists Guild will each contribute work for this group show, all related to the theme of “Birches”. Viewers can expect some unique interpretations!
The public is invited to see what “new work” develops in the gallery—please join us!

Tannery Pond Center Presents
Tanner Pond Wedding
A Gem Radio Theatre murder mystery play
Saturday, May 3, 2025, 6:30 - 10 pm
A wedding is about to take place at North Creek’s Tannery Pond Center—and someone’s going to get murdered!
Then the audience for the center’s May 3 murder mystery play, “Tanner Pond Wedding,” will be asked to figure out: Whodunnit?

The characters in the play come together for the wedding of Tiffany Tanner and Robert Pond. The center’s performance hall will be set up like a wedding
party, and once guests question likely suspects to help solve the crime, the evening will end with dancing with music by a professional DJ.
The production, by Adirondack-based Gem Radio Theatre, will serve as the Spring fundraiser for Tannery Pond community center. The evening will include robust hors d’oeuvres and a wedding cake, plus a silent auction of donated items and services. Proceeds will support Tannery Pond Center’s operations and mission.
