The Bolton Free Library presents
Reflecting on Lake George Reflections, with Ginger Henry Kuenzel
Thursday, July 17, 6:30 pm
Ginger Henry Kuenzel will relate the fascinating story of how she first met Frank Leonbruno at the Bolton Library in 1995, an encounter that led to an enduring friendship and eventually the publication of the book Lake George Reflections. Ginger will also share some of the more quirky facts and lore that Frank collected about the islands.
Originally from Whitehall, Frank came to Bolton with the Civilian Conservation Corps in 1935. In 1941, he landed a job with the NY State Department of Conservation (later DEC), where he remained for his entire career, culminating in his role as Supervisor of Lake George Operations.
Ginger, a native of Hague, had been living in Germany for much of her adult life and had just recently returned to the area when she met Frank. The two collaborated on a series of columns for The Chronicle newspaper in Glens Falls, which were later collected in Lake George Reflections. First published in 1998, this book has become an indispensable addition to the bookshelves of all fans of Lake George.

So Jules has turned his tiny lab-cum-apartment into a place to wait out the disaster and begin remaking humanity…but who will join him?
