Tannery Pond Center Presents

Flora, Fauna & Langscape: Photography by Drew Monthie

Tuesday, September 9 – Saturday, September 27

About this exhibit: My work is digital photography, both black & white and color. I photograph plants, animals, and landscapes. Some of the landscapes I photograph include the built environment.

I began taking photos with my parent’s polaroid in the 1970’s and then got a Minolta film camera during high school. Once digital cameras appeared on the scene in the 1990’s, I switched from film and never looked back.

Plants are my lifelong passion and the focus of my education, life’s work, teaching, and art, but I am also fascinated by birds, insects, mammals, and fungi.

Photography is my other passion and each day, weather permitting I try to spend a few hours taking pictures.

Otis Mountain Get Down

Friday, September 5, 2025 thru Sunday, September 7, 2025

Bringing artists and audiences together is the goal behind everything at Otis. Whether it’s a band you’ve never heard of or a genre you never knew you liked, we hope our lineup allows you to think about music differently and gives you an opportunity to enjoy and support new artists after the weekend is over.

This old-time ski hill in the Adirondacks welcomes friends, strangers and family alike. It’s one of those places you drive to, not through. Boasting tall pines, meandering rivers, little or no cell-service, hand built stages and mossy wooded campgrounds scattered with relics of the past, Otis is a true hidden gem of the Champlain Valley.

Get full details and see the lineup HERE.
