The Essex County Arts Council (ECAC) announces

Casey Galligan is new ECAC Arts Administrator

The ECAC Board of Directors is pleased to announce that Casey Galligan has joined ECAC as its new Arts Administrator.

While we are sad to see the wonderful Susan Hughes, our former Arts Administrator, leave the Adirondacks to be with family, we will not forget her contributions over the past five years. She provided wise and thoughtful support and networking to our many Essex County artists and arts organizations over the past years.

Casey  is a long-time advocate for the creative community in the Adirondacks. A former Board Chair of the Upper Jay Art Center, she brings deep experience in arts administration. With a strong background in organizational leadership, grant administration, and community collaboration she will make a meaningful contribution to the work of the Essex County Arts Council.

Casey says, “I am deeply committed to supporting and promoting the arts

throughout Essex County and am honored to bring my experience and enthusiasm to the Essex County Arts Council.”

Casey can be reached at admin@essexcountyarts.org.
