BLUSEED STUDIOS PRESENTS
HAND-MADE PAPER ARTIST INTERPRETATION ON LAKE CHAMPLAIN WATERSHED POLLUTION
Tuesday, May 3, 6:30 via ZOOM
BluSeed Studios is excited to announce the first of four public programs being presented as part of the “Multi-Cultural Interpretations on How Pollution Effects the Lake Champlain Watershed” project.
In this public program, professional artist and art educator Carol Marie Vossler will discuss what the Lake Champlain Watershed means to her and how her work-in-progress for this project captures her position. Her methods on how she imbeds published data on pollution factors of the Lake Champlain Watershed into her work along with her integration of the cultural narrative from the Native American Thanksgiving address will be detailed. Carol will explain the process she undertook to create the hand-made paper used in her work and discuss the pulp fiber supplied by local farmers within the watershed.
Visit HERE for more information and to register for her Zoom presentation.
