The Light We Carry, a solo exhibition by Abigail Duquette
Saturday, January 10 to Saturday, March 7
Opening reception Saturday, January 10, 10 am – 12 pm
The Light We Carry, a solo exhibition by Abigail Duquette features a collection of monochrome oil paintings and graphic works that explore color, structure, and light. The paintings focus on one-color interpretations of landscapes and structures, while the graphic works introduce a quieter, symbolic layer through text and design. Woven throughout the work is a sense of reflection and faith, creating an undercurrent of hope, presence, and the light that guides us. Together, these pieces invite viewers to pause, notice beauty in the everyday, and consider moments of light we carry throughout life.
Abigail Duquette is a graphic designer, muralist, and artist based in the Adirondack region of New York. She works across painting and design, known for bold color palettes and work rooted in themes of light and faith. She graduated from SUNY Plattsburgh with a BFA in Graphic Design, showcasing work in galleries across the North Country and creating public murals with Outside Art: Plattsburgh Public Art Project.
