The Clements Brothers are George and Charles Clements, identical New England twin brothers. They’ve been playing and writing music together for as long as they can remember. Touring as a duo is their first project since putting out two albums and playing in the internationally known, grass-roots band The Lonely Heartstring Band.
The duo has roots in rock, bluegrass, jazz, and classical music with George Clements on guitar and Charles Clements on bass. Together, the brothers aim to capture their singer-songwriter sensibilities in a unique blended voice, at once enthralling and intimate, groovy, and serene.

Veterans Art Fund
This new initiative created to expand access to the arts for veterans across the North Country. This fund will help reduce financial barriers by supporting veterans who wish to participate in creative classes, workshops, and artistic opportunities at the Creative Spirit Community Arts Center.
The arts can offer powerful opportunities for expression, reflection, and connection. Through the Veterans Art Fund, we hope to ensure that veterans in our community have greater access to these experiences and feel welcomed into the creative spaces of our region.
If you are a veteran interested in participating in arts programming, or if you would like to help support this initiative, we encourage you to reach out and learn more about how the Veterans Art Fund is helping strengthen creativity and community in St. Lawrence County. Nature’s Palette Painting Workshop with Laura Leigh
Sunday, March 22, 2026, 2 – 3:30 pm
Join Hudson Valley artist Laura Leigh and learn how to create organic, high-quality watercolor paints using minerals and clay from the Catskill and Adirondack Mountains.
In this workshop, Laura Leigh will guide you through the traditional method of creating watercolor paint from Catskill and Appalachian ochres—from gathering stones and milling pigments to incorporating the paints into your own painting practice. Laura will also discuss basic geology, pigment history, safe handling procedures, and the locations where she sources her ochre.
Each student will have the opportunity to create two watercolor palettes to take home, and explore Laura’s ochre selection that she has been carefully collecting since 2014. The end of the workshop will feature some basic watercolor exercises and an open-paint session with pigments, charcoal and watercolor mediums. Laura can guide you to create your own painting based on nature, imagination, or a reference photo.
This workshop blends creativity and science, and is open to artists and non-artists alike—perfect for adults and mature teens.
