“Visions From Mountain To Valley:
A Solo Exhibition, New Book, and Haudenosaunee Landback Win”

James Lancel McElhinney, writing in his TRUE PLACES Substack blog, takes a look at the trifecta of recent accomplishments for David Kanietakeron Fadden: his solo painting exhibition at Plattsburgh Sate Art Museum, the publication of his new book coauthored with Curt Stager, The First Adirondackers, and the acquisition of 600 acres of Adirondack woodland previously owned by Paul Smith’s College by the Six Nations Iroquois Cultural Center in Onchiota, where Fadden is director. The Six Nations Iroquois Cultural Center was founded in 1954 by his grandfather Ray Fadden (1910-2008).
It’s a fascinating piece and you can read it HERE.
