Upper Jay Art Center & Recovery Lounge announces
Lucinda Williams Project
Saturday, April 25
HOLY SMOKES!
We’re overjoyed and overwhelmed with the support for this special concert.
Unfortunately, we are beyond sold out and we’ll be meeting our capacity for the space based on the number of folks who have already purchased tickets / RSVP’d. Normally, we would tell folks to still show up in hopes of getting in, but we do not anticipate having additional space to accommodate walk-ins.
What a great and terrible problem to have! Please know that our hearts want EVERYONE there, but we also want to keep the event safe and fun for all.

The Chapman Museum’s Stoddard Gallery presents
A Street in Focus: Warren Street at the close of the 19th Century
Thru Sunday, July 12
When Seneca Ray Stoddard (1843-1917) arrived in Glens Falls in the 1860s, the village was a thriving industrial and commercial hub. Visitors will encounter photographs of prominent homes, including a residence of the Wing family, once located on the present-day grounds of The Hyde Collection. The exhibition also highlights Warren Street’s role as a social hub, anchored by the Opera House, where residents gathered for performances and community events.
The photographs on view also highlight moments of hardship that shaped the city. From the devastating downtown fire of 1884 to the paralyzing Great Blizzard of 1888, these events reveal the resilience of the residents of Glens Falls during times of crisis and change.
