Lake Placid Sinfonietta announces

Tickets Now On Sale for Lake Placid Sinfonietta’s Summer Concerts

July 8 – August 16, 2026

This summer, the Lake Placid Sinfonietta brings you a season of rich contrast, symphonic celebration, and unforgettable performances. The Symphony Series showcases masterpieces by Price, Still, Haydn, Beethoven, Mendelssohn, Strauss, and more, and will feature solo performances by Sinfonietta concertmaster Daniel Szasz and oboist Jillian Honn. Chamber performances explore the unique timbres of the ensemble in an up close experience, whether it’s a Mozart quintet, Piazzolla tangos, or harp chamber works by Barboteu, Andrés, and Paterson.

The Sinfonietta will also continue the tradition of free Wednesday night concerts in Mid’s Park in Lake Placid. Plus, the Adirondack Series brings music across the region—from the Olympic Conference Center and John Brown’s Farm to the Wild Center’s stunning rotunda—along with the return of the annual Children’s Concert at St. Agnes School.

Led by guest conductors Maurice Cohn, David Bloom, Georgia Mills, and Stuart Malina, this season is full of energy, artistry, and discovery.
