The Great Adirondack Birding Celebration

Friday, June 3-Sunday, June 5

The Great Adirondack Birding Celebration (GABC) is designed to introduce birders of all ages and skill levels to the unique boreal bird species and habitats in the Adirondack Park. The celebration features birding field trips to local Important Bird Areas (IBA’s), with full and half day trips on Saturday and Sunday, and presentations by accomplished ornithologists. Field trips have limited capacity so be certain to register soon.

“We’re excited to welcome birders back for the 18th Great Adirondack Birding Celebration,” said Scott van Laer, director of the VIC. “Even though we’ve missed the last two years because of the pandemic, the birds never fail to come back. And the amazing variety of bird species that birders know to expect will be here this year, also.”

The Great Adirondack Birding Celebration is sponsored by the Hotel Saranac, Northern New York Audubon and Raquette River Brewing.

The Gallery is open Saturday afternoons 1-2:30 pm through June 26. Also OPEN any time by appointment. Email or call 646-723-0703.

Book & Lyrics by Joe DiPietro, Music by Jimmy Roberts
As the second longest running off-Broadway musical of all time, this popular comedy celebrates that contemporary conundrum known as “the relationship.” Traveling through dating and waiting to commitment and marriage, from the agonies of the in-laws to trips in the family car, this episodic musical pays tribute to both the trials and the triumphs of love.
