Tupper Arts receives $25,000 Stewart’s Community Grant

Tupper Arts is pleased to announce that they are the recipients of a $25,000 Community Grant from Stewart’s, for which they ceremoniously received a check this past Friday, May 27. The grant will be going towards Tupper Arts’ ongoing Capital Campaign, during which they’ve already raised enough money to purchase the building at 106 Park Street and start making necessary renovations.

Stewart’s Community Grant is dedicated to supporting organizations that are actively working to supply beneficial experiences for their community. “The arts are a vital part of our communities and this donation to the Arts Center building is an important part of our commitment to the arts,” according to Susan Dake, President of the Stewart’s Shops Foundation.

Tupper Arts is currently open weekly from Wednesday – Sunday, 11 am – 5 pm, during which they offer free art exhibits in their gallery featuring local artists, and creative classes for all ages. For a full list of what Tupper Arts has planned for this summer, visit HERE and keep up with them on Facebook and Instagram.
