3rd Annual Essex Chili Cook-Off
Celebrate local flavor and community spirit at the 3rd Annual Essex Chili Cook-Off on Sunday, March 15th, from 1–4 PM at the Whallonsburg Grange Hall. This free, family-friendly event honors our community food growers and brings neighbors together for an afternoon of great food, music, and fun.
Enjoy a hearty chili dinner and sample a variety of chilis prepared by local cooks, then cast your vote for your favorites. The afternoon also features live music by Too Tall String Band, refreshments, and a 50/50 raffle, making it a lively gathering for all ages.
Admission, chili dinner, tastings, and live music are free. Beer will be available for purchase. In the event of a snowstorm, the cook-off will be held on March 22nd.
