Bloomsday in Westport
June 20 @ 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Usually celebrated on June 16, we’ll gather the following Saturday for our first annual (?) Bloomsday: a literary stroll through Westport inspired by James Joyce’s Ulysses. The novel unfolds over a single day—June 16, 1904—which later became known as Bloomsday after its wandering protagonist, Leopold Bloom. We’ll wander together through town, stopping at local businesses for snacks, libations, and two-minute readings, enjoying conversation and company along the way. No Joyce expertise required—just comfortable shoes and curiosity.
