Conversations with the Past – How the Community Built The Glens Falls Chronicle

April 10 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Free

Speaker: Mark Frost, founder, editor, and publisher of The Glens Falls Chronicle

7 p.m. at the Chapman, free

Mark Frost started The Chronicle from scratch in 1980 on a $1,700 investment. What a long shot! Yet The Chronicle is now going strong in its 44th year. It could only have happened here. With anecdotes and artifacts, Mark’s talk will show how The Chronicle survived and eventually thrived because of early and perpetual grass roots community support. Questions and recollections are welcome.

This program is free but requires a reservation. To register, please call (518)793-2826.
