Crackin Foxy Concert & Dance Party

Crackin’ Foxy has been playing around the North Country for the last 15 years plus. Throughout the years the lineup and direction has been a continual evolution with one exception. We continued to focus on a repertoire of Jazz music written and performed between 1925 – 1940.

This season we’ll be presenting a lineup with a full brass section and new some new material. The players include Mark Hofschneider on guitar banjo and ukulele, John Blevins on trumpet, Wayne Davison on sax, Jon Dallas on trombone, John Harshey on tuba, And out featured vocalist will be Judy Curtis.

Our sound will be heavily influenced by Traditional New Orleans and Swing style jazz. As usual, we may throw in a few contemporary (well, from the 1980’s) songs arranged in this style.

Dancing is not required, but always encouraged.
