Lauren Austin: DAC Artist in Residence

Downtown Artist Cellar and The Thrive Project welcome nationally recognized fiber storytelling artist Lauren Austin for a two-week artist residency in Malone. Austin’s quilt-based practice blends hand-dyed fabric, printmaking, beading, and stitched surface design into layered narrative works exploring family, history, memory, and identity.
The public is invited to visit the gallery during open studio hours to view works in progress, connect with the artist, and create alongside her in a welcoming community space. All ages welcome. No experience necessary. Free.
