Mark Gibian Art Exhibit

Segunda Casa welcomes artist Mark Gibian back to the Adirondacks with an exhibition of abstract sculptural watercolors. “Structural Prototypes” features a collection of watercolors and powdered pigment monoprints on paper that are closely related to Gibian’s three-dimensional work.

Based in Brooklyn, NY and the Hudson Valley, Gibian’s 3-D sculptures embrace the organic, structural, and industrial. Most recently, he is creating a series of mechanical flower sculptures with kinetic petals. Gibian’s work is held in both private and public collections, including major sculptural works at the Hudson River Park, Brooklyn Bridge/City Hall Subway Station, and Williamsburg’s Northside Pier in Brooklyn.

Gibian has been hiking and canoeing in the Adirondacks throughout his life, and is a proud 46’er (#475). Stop by Barley Sandwich at 19 Broadway in Saranac Lake thru March 12, 2022 to view “Sculptural Prototypes.”
