An abridged version of the classic holiday ballet, featuring professional dancers from NYC and local dancers from around the region.
Experience the wonder of the holidays with this new version of The Nutcracker. Alice Schonbek, Artistic Director of the North Country Nutcracker along with Tiffany Rea-Fisher, Artistic Director of EMERGE125 and School Director of Lake Placid School of Dance will be leading the production in an abridged format, Nutcracker in a Nutshell. The production will include new pieces by Rea-Fisher and Company Member Madelyn LaLonde of EMERGE125. Professional dancers from EMERGE125 and Dance Theatre of Harlem will also be joining the cast while providing the youth dancers a sneak peek into a professional dance environment.
