Places We Know, Town & Country Scenes by Susan Whiteman

It seemed only fitting to include both town and country places into this exhibit, here at one of the civic institutions that is an integral part of Saranac Lake. I am delighted to have work here and hope you will enjoy seeing some familiar places depicted on
canvas. From here to Tupper Lake I’ve painted from lakesides, roadsides, and backs of parking lots. Locations include Corey’s Road, McKenzie Pond Road, scenes from the Rail Trail, the farmers’ market, historic places in town, Main Street and more.
