Salmon River Valley Plein Air Festival
September 8 - September 12
Join us for the 2026 Salmon River Valley Plein Air Festival, supported by Always Franklin, and experience five days of art inspired by the beauty of the greater Malone region.
Throughout the festival, artists will paint outdoors at locations within 30 miles of Malone, capturing the rolling hills, farms, forests, rivers, streams, and historic places that make Franklin County unique. Follow the artists as they work, explore the landscapes that inspire them, and celebrate the creativity that brings our community together.
Whether you’re an artist, collector, or simply love the outdoors, there’s something for everyone. Artists of all experience levels are welcome to participate, and the public is invited to enjoy festival events and the exhibition of completed works.
