Stargazing at the John Brown Farm
Event Date: Saturday, March 9, 7 PM to 9 PM
View the brilliant night sky at the John Brown State Historic Site. Enjoy a wide-open, inspiring view of the firmament from our North Field. A telescope will be available, but you are welcome to bring your own telescope or binoculars.
This will be an outdoor program that will be held in the North Field adjacent to the parking lot near the park entrance. If the sky is overcast this event will be cancelled. Please check our Facebook page for event status and weather conditions.
This event is sponsored by the NYS Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation and is free to the public.
The John Brown Farm is located at 115 John Brown Road in the town of North Elba, 2 miles south of the village of Lake Placid.
