Lake George is known as the Queen of American lakes. Ginger Henry Kuenzel will speak about the men and women who played a key role in protecting Lake George throughout history: Seneca Ray Stoddard, John Apperson, Nobel laureate Irving Langmuir, Frank Leonbruno and more. A new book titled Stewards of the Water highlights these individuals and their work as well as organizations and people who are carrying on this tradition of stewardship today. Representatives from the Lake George Association will also talk about the role today’s residents can play in protecting Lake George for future generations.
