SUMMER CONCERTS ON THE JAY VILLAGE GREEN: KNOTTY PADDY

Presented by the Jay Entertainment & Music Society (JEMS) in collaboration with the Town of Jay
Knotty Paddy is a 5-piece Celtic Rock/Speed Folk band based in Northern New York. The band is known for its lively mix of songs and tunes—Irish, Scottish, Canadian, Americana, & originals—that never fails to get audiences dancing and singing along. Formed in 2016, the band consists of experienced musicians Jamie Savage (acoustic guitar & lead vocals), Rick Kovacs (fiddle), Mike McBride (percussion), Doug Riley (bass, cittern, & mandolin), and Riczi Kovacs (electric guitar, flute, whistle, & vocal harmonies).
So, pack a picnic dinner, gather your family and friends, and enjoy live outdoor music by the gazebo at the beautiful Historic Jay Village Green, 15 Parkside Road, Jay, NY

In the event of rain, performances move indoors to the Amos & Julia Ward Theater at the same location.
Refreshments will be available from the volunteer-run Jay Entertainment & Music Society (JEMS), with donations gratefully accepted to support the ongoing maintenance and preservation of the Amos & Julia Ward Theater.
