This Glorious Earth! is a live music event performed by the Paul Winter Consort, a group of seven exceptional artists renowned for their unique blend of jazz, world, and classical music. The ensemble features Paul Winter, soprano saxophone; Theresa Thomason, voice; Dave Haughey, cello; Henrique Eisenmann, keyboard; Paul Meyers, guitar; Peter Slavov, bass; and Rogério Boccato, drums; plus (recorded) voices of Whale, Wolf, Wood Thrush. This Glorious Earth! is a celebration of wildlife and wilderness areas of the Earth that will resonate with many like-minded individuals and organizations across the Adirondacks.
The legendary Paul Winter Consort performs This Glorious Earth! at Weatherwatch Farm in Saranac on LABOR DAY: Monday, September 4 at 3:00 pm. An outdoor event, the show is rain or shine under a large tent on a mown hayfield looking south to the high peaks of the Adirondacks. Advance-sale tickets at $30 are available online through Hill and Hollow Music’s website. Admission at the gate is $40. Chairs are provided but you are welcome to bring your own.
