Twitchell Talks: Kate Doyle

Debut author Kate Doyle was a 2020 resident at our annual Anne LaBastille Memorial Writing Residency on Twitchell Lake. Hear her read from her collection, I Meant it Once (Algonquin Books, 2023) and converse with fellow Anne LaBastille resident and ACW’s visiting writer, Erin Dorney. The pair will discuss Kate’s new book as well as their experiences at Lake Twitchell. Doyle and Dorney met at Twitchell Lake and have gone on to attend other retreats together, proving that a residency can create long-lasting community among writers.
